Today we are going to be looking at some products from a great company out west, LAPCO. These guys have been kind enough to send us out a few magazines to review and take pictures for you guys. Let me say, these people at LAPCO are great. Really cool to talk to and work with. Hopefully there will be more of this to come. Now, on to the good stuff!
We will be looking at two magazines specifically today, the M4/M16 HE-Grip Gas-Through Magazine and the MP5 Style Magazine. Both mags are made from a high quality polymer that allows them to be lightweight and extremely durable. Their products are made 100% in the USA and are warrantied for life. How can you beat that? Plus, all of their magazines come with the honestly awesome scorpion logo.
The M4/M16 mag is one of the most, if not the most, authentic looking mags on the market. It is specifically designed to work with the HE-Grip and you can tell. It slides over the air line and trigger easily. You will have to remove your cyclone in order to get to one of the screws, but the total install time is less than five minutes. It is a very clean install and the mag gives the gun a very clean look. It is perfect for milsim and really completes a marker.
Retail Price: $47.99
The MP5 mag is quite simply beautiful. I have always enjoyed the look of the MP5, but was never quite sure if I'd like a paintball marker MP5. Now I am sure, yes I do want that. This mag really sets off a marker and gives it that little something extra. It is a gorgeous accessory and will make you really happy to show off your marker. The best compliment I can pay it is that it just looks like its supposed to be there. For a milsim fan, that is really what you are looking for.
Retail Price: $47.99
Overall, I rate LAPCO as one of the best companies out there for magazines and these two truly deliver. They are perfect for anyone looking to complete their milsim look. The lightweight is really a huge feature as the tremendous amount of accessories on most milsim markers make the gun quite heavy.
Make sure you check out their website at: http://www.lapcopaintball.com and tell them we sent ya!
