Well, hello there! Please have a seat and let me introduce myself. My name is James “Wingman” Boyd and I am a paintballer. Not a real big surprise, is it? A paintballer on a web site about paintball, who would have guessed that one?

Well anyway, back to my point. Over the coming weeks and eventually months I will be bringing you news, stories, and much more! Now, at this point, you’re probably kicking up your eyebrow and wondering what exactly I have to offer over the next Joe Schmo. Well I have an uncanny ability to pick up on details of a situation, my story telling prowess is unmatched by most mortal men, and I have a passion for the sport that has no boundaries. Now when you put that together with my 7 years of playtime, field experience and technical know how you can plainly see why you’re going to want to stick around.

The next question that is probably eating away at you is what am I going to write about? That’s easy, I’m going to write about paintball, every aspect of it from the top to the bottom. Don’t be surprised if you see stories about the courage and heroism of a player who flanked the entire enemy team to capture the last flag that would lead his team to victory, or what to do when you when you find yourself in need of a bathroom at a 24 hour scenario! If it involves paintball I intend to cover it.

On February 1st, I will be releasing my very first article here on Paintball Carolina and I’m extremely excited. The column will be a weekly reader, with new stories going live on Monday mornings. You can expect to see reviews of gear, interviews with big names in the scenario world, and much more. I’ve also got a little project in the works that I think most of you will find to be a very entertaining read. It’s planned to be a four part mini series that will cover all the aspects of planning, running, and hosting a scenario. With insight from some of the top scenario promoters in the country. The series will premier sometime in mid to late February so make sure you don’t miss it!
